Support to the 2nd Family House of KAÇUV From Turk Prysmian Kablo!

Türk Prysmian Kablo, the leading company of the Turkish cable industry, brings life to the 2nd Family House built and opened in Pendik by The Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV). The company undertook the supply of fire-safe cables for the 2nd Family House, which is implemented so that children and their families who are treated for cancer can stay in during the treatment process.

The worldwide leader in the cable industry Prysmian Group's Turkey operation, Turk Prysmian Kablo supported 2nd Family House of KAÇUV with its cables. The company, which continues to support social responsibility projects that benefit the society, undertook the supply of fire-safe cables for the 2nd Family House of KAÇUV. Turk Prysmian Kablo’s CEO Cinzia Farisè, Human Resources Director Aysun Kalmık, Marketing and Business Development Director Tamer Yavuztürk and Marketing and Communication Manager Seda Babaoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the House which is held on January 22nd, in Pendik İstanbul.

“It will be ‘home’ for 22 children and their families”

The 2nd Family House of KAÇUV, which is opened to create hope for more children and families who have been treated for cancer and has financial difficulties and cannot continue their treatment, has 22 rooms that can accommodate 22 families at the same time. The 2nd family house of KAÇUV, which has 4 family rooms on each floor and a large game room on the top floor, also has a workshop area and classrooms. Türk Prysmian Kablo is happy and proud to support such a meaningful project that gives hope to children and their families by making a contribution in the 2nd Family House.

“Psychological support services are also provided”

The first KAÇUV Family House opened in 2012 with the support of the Istanbul Governorship and the Hope Foundation for Children with Cancer (KAÇUV), meets the needs of the families who come to Istanbul for the treatment of their children with cancer and who are financially disadvantaged, such as accommodation, food, cleaning, social areas, kitchen and clothing for free. Psychological support services are also provided to children and their families in the Family House.
